Invest in the server please#958

Lately it seems like features have been sacrificed for performance. So many features have been sacrificed, like the vanilla hopper speed, the chunk limit on hoppers and villagers and other things, and as another suggestion has stated,
the render distance reduced. Not to mention the farmer nerf, which, as many suggestions have stated, can be fixed by multiplying the netherwart by a factor of 4.

On the foxcraft store there is a payment goal, and you guys have gone past the payment goal already. As the description of the goal suggests, there should be investments in the server to increase the quality of it. Please spend the time to invest in the server to boost the server’s performance by upgrading the server and adding back these features, not remove features to try to get a bit of extra performance.

cloak is always investing the money he earns back into the server to improve.

You can’t just have servers that can handle everything, that’s probably very expensive and pretty rare to get those… I’m sure cloak is trying his best to get the server as good as possible, but sometimes some features can’t stay…

I suppose the money is going to fixing bugs and adding features, but honestly a server that can’t handle more than a 2 chunk radius being loaded is unacceptable. There are workarounds to the features like the farmer nerf. There are better ways to handle deleting every single minecart than saying “sorry!” on a suggestion post complaining about this issue. Yes I understand that features need to be sacrificed to make the server run better, but where do you draw the line? When is the game still playable and fun for people? Because the way I see it, every time they remove a feature or delete things people have created without compensation, my interest in the server dwindles every time. The lack of communication and just the amount of bad surprises that I’ve experienced in the few months I’ve played on here is disappointing. Things like the farmer nerf and the render distance change don’t show up on the updates page, but rather they only are revealed when you ask explicitly on the discord. Things like the minecart deletion are probably for a good cause like stopping a lag machine, but not doing anything to compensate for it is just unacceptable. I’ve already decided to not spend any more money on this server, and at this rate, cloak will probably lose other players’ interest in spending money too. I’m not saying everyone will, especially the big spenders, but I just think the server and communication could be handled a lot more effictively in making people happy.

Then again, probably half the people playing are kids so that’s probably why he doesn’t care to do all of this.

I totally don’t feel that way about this server, I think it’s the best (skyblock) server I’ve ever played, I never quit… Other servers I play I instantly quit because it’s just so boring, idk why tho

Not getting another cent from me till stuff like this gets fixed.
