Sweet Berries growth speed reduce#1541

Today, the sweet berries growth speed has been reduced by 50% to improve server performance. I have to say that a 50% reduction is very extreme. People have been grinding hard for this and spent a lot of money on this. But okay fair enough, it’s for server performance.

At the moment Sweet Berries are only in the shop like 1x every 1-2 weeks. Which means that (for example) with 100 Tier 5 Farmer minions you will earn about 54M per 1-2 weeks. And yes, carrots now grow 20% faster. I’ve tested this and sweet berries are still better + nobody wants to remake 300 platforms…

Also, Miner Minions earn almost as much as Farmer minions at the moment, and I don’t know if that’s entirely the point.

Possible solutions:
(If possible)

-Increase Sweet Berries sellprice with 50%.

-Add Sweet Berries more often in the shop.

-Bring back the old growth speed.

No. The performance issues will never be resolved purely because of the SIZE of players farms. With them able to upgrade the island size as much as they want, the farms will just be bigger and bigger

Try planting different crops, the meta always changes :)

Why not at least increase berry prices with the 50%? Shouldn’t cause any lag by changing the sell price. This is totally disrespectful to all your customers.

No. Just plant different crops. not that hard

Why would we remake 300+ platforms to different crops if they are still worse? The point here is that the owner is trying to reduce lag, not to nerf berries for no reason. The amount of money and effort put into this is unthinkable. The owner could easily increase the prices and still have reduced this amount of lag he is trying to.

I appreacite the increase, but sadly its only a 50% increase, while they got reduced by 70% now in growth..

Yeah it’s still highly recommended to diversify your crops and not only grow sweet berries.

Didn’t say you had to tear down your entire platforms to make a profit again, things get nerfed to accommodate what the server hardware needs. You as the player are required to adjust to that
