Staff pls#1413

theres several days where theres no staff on for hours at a time (due to most of them being european time) as a result theres people running rampant, we either need more active staff or promote more people to Sr.Mod

Hiii, we all have lives outside of foxcraft so can’t be online all day :( We are trying to have multiple staff members in each timezone to prevent this! And if there is no staff online you can always report a player on forums so they can get the appropriate punishment later. Promoting staff members also won’t change the timezone they live in. Feel free to apply for staff on our forums! :p

I know that staff have lives outside of foxcraft, that’s why i’m not targetting any specific staff. Its a overall consensus that 80% of the current team shares the same timezone. The only 2 staff that WERE on during late american hours resigned which as a result is forcing some staff to have to play well beyond reason.

This is fair and I can’t deny that we’re low on staff from other timezones, though I don’t think that’s what dictates how long the rest of the team are staying online - it’s currently the weekend which is probably the reason you see a few European staff around at the moment (excluding Dean, he simply has a bad sleep schedule). As Dean mentioned above promoting people to senior makes no difference whatsoever and helpers and mods are perfectly capable of handling the same issues. All I can say is we’re well aware of the lack of staff during late hours and we’re definitely prioritizing applicants from NA timezones to expand the team with, but choices are limited and there’s only so much we can do if we want to take into account other qualitative factors as well. So if you’re passionate about this and don’t see many staff online when you’re usually around, definitely consider joining the team and lending us a hand :)
