Currently the tps is VERY unstable and has been for a long time with no apparent fix for it. Players are getting larger and larger farms and as a result the server can not handle it.

My suggestion to try and alleviate this is to remove some unused plugins like the proximity chat, I don’t believe i’ve seen a single person use this in at least 2 months

Another suggestion is /pets as they’re currently disabled. You have tried to prevent people abusing this to get out of claims they’re not supposed to with no avail so as a result you just disabled it entirely.

/fhc as of right now since heads do NOT stack when they’re on the ground, it doesn’t take very much for them to start lagging the area they’re in. One way to help this is to remove mobs from dropping heads entirely and leave it so just players drop heads.

The Entitycount doesn’t really affect the Tps on the Server. The Server Plug-In ‘Paper’ is an Issue for the Gameplay and the Tps. Paper disables alot of Vanilla Features by Default and tries to remove alot of Entitys, so the Tps is stable. An example for this is TnT, it’s set to a max. of ca. 150 Tnt max in a 16x16 chunk area. This can be enabled in the Code, but it’s the main issue for Redstone breaking. I know this has nothing to do with the unstable Tps, BUT Paper also is a Server Plug-in, that (like almost every plug-in does) will try to seperate the Nether, End and Overworld in different Worldfiles, that mainly causes alot of Tps Lagg. Theres alot of other Reasons, as the Country you’re living in (bcz the Server is maybe in a hole different Country or your Wifi or PC is not able to handle the Servers Information and that is what also will affect Gameplay and Lagg) or the general Server (Hardware of the Servers Data) is not in a good State. I hope this wasn’t too confusing and maybe helped a bit to understand such Issues, in some Points I could be wrong, but it should be mainly correct.

You can tell me everything, but Paper isnt a plugin, Its a fork of spigot & spigot is a server software to run a mc server on ;)

& Tile entities/ entities are always alr being a problem on so many servers that just causes lagg/tps drops

Connection throtthles doesnt impact tps tbh…
And if you have gameplay issues with your pc, the server wont be infacted with lagg (FPS - Client side issue//software)

FPS - Frames Per Second
TPS - Ticks Per Second
MSPT - Milli Seconds Per Tick (This need to be below 50 or it will just cause issues & lagg out the server)

So first of all, yes, Paper is a Plug-in, that is often used to run Minecraft Servers on, it improves the Gameplay and also the Vanilla features (as duping gliches or other “cheats”) It also IS a Server Software that is used to run a Mc Server on, BUT the Tps has nothing to do with the Paper software, instead it has something to do with the Paper Plug-in, bcz neither the software or the kind of Server. The main Issue for Tps drops are the ammount of Mobs/entities that are loaded in from alot of Players, this IS indeed affected by the Server Plug-in or the Servers hardware. Also I’m aware of the meanings of Tps, Fps, Cps, etc. If you got any more Issues with this comment, find a more fitting Answer
